WRITING PROMPT ESSAY
There are so many people in my life that had made a big impact in my life, from my family to the people in the street. This person is not famous, rich, or popular, but to me he is someone that should be respected as a person of good character. When I have problems, I would talk about it to someone I really trust. Honestly, my dad isn't always around, so I would talk to my mentor instead. He would give good reasonable advice that I can relate and comprehend. He also uses his real life situation to make me understood that it happen to him as well. That person is MSgt. Gaudin.
How is this person important to you? There are many people that are important to me, even though I don’t know that person. It’s only natural to help one another. MSgt. Gaudin is one of those important people because he helped me in times when I question myself. When at times it happened, it would bother me thinking of a solution. How I should act in a situation that can affect the opposite? Thinking possible actions that can occur overtime, how I should really think before acting on thoughts. It wasn't something that I didn't think would happen, but it did. It wasn't exactly the best experience in the world, but it made me a better person.
Why is this person important to you? If that one person wasn't there in my life, thing’s would never be the same. It like a big piece of your life just vanished in thin air. Memories that can’t be replace or taken, knowledge that can’t be learned in class. If MSgt. Gaudin wasn't there, I probably wouldn't be who I am today. Every day is the same to me. Learning, reading, writing, and why I am here. When a person had a reason to do something, it makes the person want to achieve it. My life isn't like some average high school teenager, because J.R.O.T.C. made me a better person at home and out in the real world.

WRITING PROMPT ESSAY #2
A school is a place to learn how to read and write, but it more than that. It is also a place to experience friendship, relationship, managing, and being responsible. My year’s in high school is very experience and challenging. I had responsibility at school, home, and in J.R.O.T.C. It’s not easy, but once I am done. I’ll be a better person than I ever was then.
My purpose in school is to be educated enough to be ready for college. Also to have fun and hanging out with my friend. Every day at school, I would attend my classes, finishing my class worked, and turning in my work on time. It not exactly tiring, but at times I had other things to do besides projects and homework. I don’t like to make excuses, so I have to learn how to manage and getting the work as soon as possible. I don’t like how people are not doing their work, but then again that’s their problem. That’s their choice to make, not mine.
The purpose of school is to get you ready for life once you walk across that stage to get that diploma. You think life in school is hard, wait till you have your own life. Your basically on your own, everyone is on their own mission, everyone will be busy, and everyone is heading on their next chapter of life. I am not that hopeless, my G.P.A. is fairly decent, but now I need a good ACT score, start planning what college I would like to attend, a career, etc. It’s not easy, but if you think it time to stop and take a break. The world will revolve and go on with or without you and I want to be a part of it.

should schools have a vocational track?
Should School have a vocational track? It gives teenager more options on what he/she wants to do after high school. It either joining the military, college, or a job career. Going to college requires financial obligation to meet the requirements. Money can be a troublesome to most parents. It better to focus on something a person would want their career to be. Vocational track gives teenager the opportunity to start learning on thing's they want to do. Nurse, mechanic, and so on can be learn within the program. Exceeding in life is so easy when you think about it, but when you actually doing it, it's harder then you think. Everyone is equivalent on education. It just matter what choices you make and how it can affect your future. In my opinion, school should have vocational track.
IF YOU WERE A PARENT,WOULD YOU BUY A DOLL THAT MISREPRESENTED YOUR VALUES?
If you were a parent, would you buy a doll that misrepresented your values? It depends on the scenario. If my daughter would really want a doll, then most likely I will have to comply. If my daughter would undergo a surgery to look like a Barbie doll as she gets older, then I will talk her out of it. My job as a parent is to support, care, and advise her to feel confident in herself. Empowering good thoughts and feeling is powerful. It makes one person mind think positive on everything he/she does. People implications of Barbie's body-type as an ideal. A company called Mattel, that makes Barbie, denies that the doll hurt girl's self-esteem. Instead, it calls Barbie "a girl-empowering pioneer" who is supposedly an inspiration to millions. My role as a parents is to take care of my children, advise them, and never give up on them.
should handguns be illegal?
Should handguns be illegal? In today modern world, violence are happening almost everyday. People robbing, fighting, and shooting for their own selfish reasoning. Actions speak louder then words, but why couldn't it be discussed before using violence. If the world was perfect, people wouldn't have to make weapons, but then technology wouldn't improve. People would plot scheme on how to get a gun. Other countries would import legal guns to other countries for money. It happens so subsequently that the military are watching over sea to stop it from happening in the U.S. If people would stop commission guns to people without a certified license, then countless innocent death would've been avoided. People use handguns for self-defense, but wouldn't a pepper spray be less more painful or a bat. In a way, handguns should and should not be, because we live in a crazy world.
Writing Composition
The picture that I am writing a composition on is "Crude Reality." The reason why I chose the picture because it explains a lot just by looking at it and it reminds people what can happen in a war. The event or issue display in the picture is, "Countries fighting for power over the control of oil." One of the nation greatest need in natural resources is oil and it power engines such as cars, airplanes, etc. People would use it to power their tanks and weaponry for the use of war. So once you gain power over oil, anything can happen for the good and the bad. In the pictures, their is a double-amputee solider, who worn two different uniform, two great nations flag, and crude oil. Both sides are experiencing about the same issue facing in their countries. In a war, people might not come back, they are either injured or amputee, and everyone is sad for the lost of family members. Two countries are fighting for control over oil, soldiers on both side are dieing, and both sides are experience the outcome of the war. Every soldier are fighting for their countries future. People that would agree/disagree to the war are people that did serve in the military, peace corp., the nations leader, and people that have power. From the artist point of view, it seem he/she disagree with the war because seeing a solider that is double-amputee is really sad. It makes people think twice before getting mad at the wrong person. The picture is persuasive to the people that care and understand what people in the war are doing for us. While we enjoy peaceful civilization, they are fighting for survival and protecting their loves one back home.
theme of violence
"He is dead," said Boxer sorrowfully. "I had no intention of doing that. I forgot that I was wearing iron shoes. Who will believe that I did not do this on purpose?"Why is this quote important to the theme of Violence? Violence is a conflict that is happening between two individuals or a group. During a conflict, people can get angry in a discussion and disagreement. Then if that didn't work out, people use violence to solve it. Boxer just kill a person ,even though he had no intention, a person is a person. Nobody would believe you if you said it was on purpose. You will be blame and their will be consequences. A human life is a life.
What are the different kinds of violence we see? I see countries fighting over for power, greed, and desire. A person taking another person life like it was nothing. A disagreement with two people or organization and that leads to violence. People form gangs to shoot and steal other people possession. People killing each other for no reason, but maybe to survive. Selfishness that leads to a desire to take someone life for that person to live on.
What are the tools of violence, and who is fighting whom here? People would use knowledge as a weapon against each other. They use knowledge to improve their own countries for better weaponry and artillery. A bad leader would use his position to manipulate and command his army to do what he please. People or an organization can be a tool that determines the outcome of a war. Do the answers to these questions evolve over the course of the story? When Major die, Snowball and Napoleon took over power, but each have their own ambition. So Napoleon had to get rid of the other competitor. So he plot how to get rid of him and succeeded. Now he controls the farm and manipulate the animal to do what he ask them to do.
· How is it that Napoleon executes such extremes of violence, and still has the other animals convinced he's a good guy? Napoleon uses his knowledge to manipulate the other animals. He has followers that spread false rumors and memories to convince the animals that he's a good guy. Napoleon uses Snowball as a scapegoat, so it would get the animal to go on his side. With great numbers, comes with a greater outcome of an agreement.
· The progression of violence from battles between the animals and the humans to abuse within Animal Farm itself is the most significant outcome of the pigs’ corruption. Do you agree or disagree? Why? I agree because the pigs' corruption rise on power determine everything. Napoleon decision effects on how the farm progresses. When Major gave the idea of starting a rebellion against the farm, the animals plot the plans, but when Napoleon and Snowball takes over. The plans took it to another level where humans are now an enemy. So they fought against the humans, took over the farm, but then plot to take over the world. Now, pigs' are acting like humans and cooperating with humans.

Theme of power
Are the sheep completely useless? They do have a influence on how animals do and think about how the farms is progressing. In the story, the sheep would repeat the same line, when it was really not part of the topic. Do we actually need these less intellectual workers to support everyone else? If they can't really work and help out, then why would I really want them around. While the sheep are extraordinarily inept, do they also have a certain power? They have an influence when it comes in numbers. When they are in a agreement/disagreement, the sheep would bleep out and change everyone thoughts that Napoleon the good guy.
Theme of pride
Is pride beneficial or harmful to the animals? Pride keeps the animal going, but for Boxer it was to much. Boxer would sleep less, and work more. He let it take over most of his life, and in the end. He was sick and was taken away to place of no return. Pride is whats keep us going, but to much can change a person for the good and bad. Its beneficial and harmful in a certain degree. For the pigs? The pigs' like Napoleon doesn't seen to care for pride. He cooperate with the humans, disobey and change the commandments, and kill his fellow animals. To much pride can get it over their head and forget everything else around you. For the humans? Humans in the story are like in the middle, and they weren't that important in the story. They took pride to their farms, but when it comes to work and keeping it in order, they failed to do so. What's harmful is when they think they can do whatever they want and abuse the animal.
What do the pigs feel proud of as compared to what the other animals feel proud of? The pigs' feel proud that they accomplish a goal that not a lot of animal can do. Not only they took over the farm, they improve it beyond the point where no other farms can get to in a lifetime. Their leadership has brought the farm to a successful point in the age. The others animal shouldn't feel so proud because they failed to do what is said in the very beginning. A future where animals took over the world, but when it really animal and human working together equally. A place where animals are equal and no one shall kill another animal, but it happen. A future where animals don't act like humans. Animals are animals and humans are humans.
